The deanGroup is represented by independent companies in the renewable energy sector that have been working closely together since 1998. We are committed to the expansion of renewable energies and are actively involved in climate and environmental protection.

Our teams consist of engineers, technicians, and economic experts who are specialists in the field of renewable energy. Our expertise guarantees an optimal level of experience, competence, security and profitability. The deanGruppe keeps projects in its property but also offers them to investors, preferably local ones, to ensure added value in the projects’ direct periphery.

Our milestones



The first wind turbine

In 1991, it all gets started with a wind turbine in Neustadt, which the Jäger-Bloh family – who founded the firm – plans and constructs along with partners.

Wind farms in the Neustadt area

In and around Neustadt, a total of 16 wind turbines are set up in the Bevensen and Wulfelade wind farms.



The deanGruppe merges

In 1998, the Jäger-Bloh family, the owners of the company, joins forces with other firms it has cooperated with from the beginning to tap synergies and work hand-in-hand.




Under the management of Dr. Alexander Jäger-Bloh, the Group is restructured, with headquarters in Neustadt.

Repowering Bevensen


First Repowering Project

At Bevensen, the Group completes its first repowering project.



First wind farm in France

Five 2.3 MW turbines are installed near the town of Momerstroff (Moselle) in the Group‘s first wind farm in France.



First biogas unit

In the Suttorf district of Neustadt, the first biogas unit is built.



Founding of deanSolar

The Group starts business in the solar sector with the founding of deanSolar and projects on the Balearic Islands.



Four solar plants on Mallorca

Starting up of solar plants on Mallorca with a total capacity of more than 8 MWp



Three solar plants in Spain

Starting up of three solar plants with a total capacity of 30 MWp in Spain.



Lars Bauermeister becomes executive director of deanSolar

Lars Bauermeister is the new executive director of dean Solar Energy GmbH. Along with Dr. Alexander Jäger-Bloh, he manages the solar business in the Group.

The most efficient renewable energy project in the Hanover region

In Niedernstöcken, the most modern wind farm in the Hanover region is built, consisting of five Enercon E-101 turbines, each with a total height of 186 m.

deanBV moves into new building

The technical department of deanBV has moved into an energy-optimised passive house built by the founding family at the company's headquarters in Hagen.

Energy for own consumption

The Tozzi Nord TN535 small wind turbine starts operation on the company's headquarters. In addition to the three existing PV systems, it generates the electricity for deanGruppe's own consumption, including the charging stations of the electric vehicle fleet.

Construction of the most modern wind turbine on the market

In the municipality of Oyten, district of Verden, the wind energy project "Tüchten" with a highly efficient wind turbine of the type GE Wind, with a rotor diameter of 158 metres, a total height of 240 metres and 5.3 megawatts of rated power, starts operation.

How we put our values into practice

We don't just talk about climate protection, we act.

All deanGruppe office buildings in Neustadt-Hagen are supplied with energy-efficient solar and wind power. Our vehicles use electric drives. We are intensively involved in research projects, such as the EU project "Life Eurokite" for the cross-border protection of the red kite. Our support is demonstrated by equipping red kites with transmitters at the Wendenborstel wind farm. For example, as a member of the German Wind Energy Association (BWE) and shareholder of the Climate Protection Agency Region Hannover, we are actively committed to environmental protection.
